Letters to the Editor
Letters to the editor are one of the most important grassroots advocacy tools we have on the campaign. They’re an easy way to make your voice heard. By submitting letters to the editor, you can let your friends and neighbors know why you’re supporting John’s bid for Congress and why you agree - or disagree - with articles being written in our local papers.
A great way to keep track of what’s being said about the campaign is to set up Google Alerts. Sign up through the Google News page and enter key words such as “John Callahan” or “Callahan for Congress” to stay up to date on blog posts and articles. Once you know what’s being written, you can respond to the articles and posts.
In addition to traditional letters to the editor, you can also comment on articles and blog items. This is a good way to express your opinion and keep the dialogue going after a piece has been written. Check out the bottom of the blog post or online article to enter your thoughts about John’s campaign.
